With the upcoming Artemis Moon Mission, NASA plans to send the first woman and the first person of color to the Moon.

With the upcoming Artemis Moon Mission, NASA plans to send the first woman and the first person of color to the Moon. Join University of Maryland professor and leader of NASA’s GEODES project Nick Schmerr on August 4, 2023 for a presentation about how research at the San Francisco volcanic fields outside of Flagstaff, AZ will help astronauts prepare to explore the Moon.
