On December 14th, it will have been 10 years since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting took place in Newtown, Connecticut killing 20 innocent children and 6 educators. During the anniversary month of this tragedy, the Newtown Action Alliance Foundation will hold a National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Washington, DC. In addition, they are asking that gun violence prevention organizations nationwide host vigils and other events to educate our communities on the growing number of victims of gun violence in America and engage more people to join efforts to reduce it.
