The League of Women Voters is a peoples’ organization formed in 1920 from the movement that secured the right to vote for women. The centerpiece of The League’s efforts has always been, and still is, to improve our government and expand participation of all Americans in civic activity, so that they may actively participate in the decisions that impact their lives.
