Virtual Perinatal Therapy Group

Having a baby is exciting, exhausting, rewarding, and challenging. Because of this, new
mothers need support. In this group you will:
● Check in with other new or expecting mothers.
● Process successes/challenges in being a new parent.
● Discuss self care routines and sleep hygiene.
● Gain new parent resources ie. sleep classes and feeding classes.
● Discuss the key elements to life with a newborn and having realistic expectations.
● Gain psycho education on post-partum anxiety and depression.
● Discuss the signs of post-partum anxiety and depression in both women and men.
● Learn coping skills in managing depression/anxiety.
● Process the impact of the recent COVID crisis on birth plans, post-partum expectations,
and related anxiety.
