Stalking the Wild Food Experts of Tucson

Food fads come and go, but wild foods are forever. Join us to learn about the Placekeepers and Tastemakers who are experts of Sonoran Desert wild foods.

Food fads come and go, but wild foods are forever. Foraging wild foods has been the primary means by which humans have survived. But only recently have modern humans in the United States started to rediscover that wild foods are delicious. The Sonoran Desert has 450 edible wild foods. If you stalk the wild foods experts, they’ll lead you to discover and experience the foods that foragers have enjoyed here, for more than 10,000 years.
