MNA’s Science Day is held in conjunction with the Flagstaff Festival of Science.
The Museum will feature science stations for all ages from 10am – 2pm. This is a free museum day. At 2pm, Paleontologist Dave Gillette, who is best known for his discovery of the dinosaur Diplodocus hallorum in 1985, will present a talk on The Last of the Ice Age Mammals on the Colorado Plateau. At 3:30pm, Flag Shakes will present a short skit and then a talk about what Shakespeare knew about medicine in contrast to what is known today.
