Prerequisites:
Laptop computer (limited number available for use at CCA), with audio editing software (free and low-cost software options available).
Access to a recording device (CCA has a limited number of digital audio recorders that participants can share). Please bring your own SD card. Smartphones are also acceptable.
Participants are asked to fill out a brief questionnaire upon registration.
Instructor’s Qualifications:
Trained by Rob Rosenthal through a Transom mentorship (guest teachers Ira Glass and Jay Allison), Robert McKee, and Uniondocs.
Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern
20+ years of public radio reporting and editing, NPR freelancer
Six years podcast production experience
