Plein Air in Open Spaces!

Join artists of all ages as we paint and draw outdoors, taking a new look at nature from the landscape to the microscope!

As part of the Flagstaff Festival of Science, the Flagstaff Open Spaces Program hosts a series of free plein air (outdoor drawing and painting) events at Buffalo Park, Wheeler Park, and Picture Canyon. Artists of all ages and abilities are welcome, plein air artists will be on hand to demonstrate, and easels and art supplies are available for free.
