Plant Talk: Asters, grasses and fall color

Presented by Museum of Northern Arizona at Museum of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff AZ

Sep 29 2020
Plant Talk: Asters, grasses and fall color

While the golden leaves of the aspen tree are the best known autumn color in Flagstaff, the grasses and aster flowers provide a lovely palette on the ground level. Livestreamed September 29th 12pm program on MNA Facebook page.

Horticulturist Jan Busco points out these many native plants that contribute to the landscape after the summer blooms fade away.
Jan has worked with native plants for more than three decades and is the curator of MNA’s gardens and grounds. She has written three books on western native plants; "Native Plants for High-Elevation Western Gardens", "First Garden: How to get Started in Southwestern Gardening" and "First Garden: How to get Started in California Gardening".
