The 16th Annual Northern Arizona Book Fest will take place at the Coconino Center for the Arts on May 18, 2013, with the theme of music and literature. Partnering with the Grand Canyon Guitar Society, we will have musical performances along with the Simmerman Poetry Prize and authors from various genres. There will also be a panel discussion about the distinct art form that is created when music and poetry are combined.

Event begins with Simmerman High School Poetry Prize Winners at 10AM, and continues with author readings, talks and musical performances throughout the day. Author Pam Houston will close the event with a reading and book signing from 4:45-5:45PM.
