Native Strong: Health & Wellness Conference

The Native American Health & Wellness Conference is a week-long conference aimed at the prevention and education of Obesity & Type II Diabetes in the Native American Youth population of Flagstaff, Arizona.

This conference’s holistic approach to wellness includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness strategies. Youth, entering grades 3rd-6th Fall 2015, will be equipped with tools to strengthen their minds & bodies.

Skills like Identifying Protective Factors, Stress Relief, and Coping Skills will be introduced along-side traditional preventative measures like Healthy Eating habits and physical activity to the youth using engaging activities.
