Meet us at the trailhead

Join library staff on a 2.6 mile out-and-back hike to a colorful, highly eroded volcanic mountain near Flagstaff. You will need transportation to and from the trailhead, water, snacks, sun protection and shoes for hiking.

From Flagstaff, drive 31 miles north on US 180, then turn left (west) on the signed Red Mountain Trailhead road. We’ll meet you in the parking lot.

Please note that the event will be canceled if the forest is closed to public access. Last minute notices will be sent via remind text – text efclad 81010 to join. Standard messaging rates apply, must be 13+ to join.
