It's Elemental Opening Reception

The popular fine crafts exhibition, It’s Elemental, showcases works of art by the finest craftspeople in Northern Arizona. The Opening Reception features live music, readings by local authors, participating artists and food and drink.

The annual juried show features jewelry, ceramics, glasswork, wood, furniture, fabric, sculpture and more. Dozens of local fine craft artists will be showing over fifty original works of art in this year’s exhibition.

It’s Elemental is now in its twelth year. The exhibition is an annual exhibition at the Coconino Center for the Arts as a perfect lead up to the holiday season. It has its roots from the earliest days at the Center, from the mid-1980’s to the mid-1990’s. Back then, the exhibition was titled, "Wood, Fiber, Clay." The Center closed in the late 1990’s, but when it reopened in 2001, the exhibition returned with its current name and concept.
