Handmade Holiday Market

Local Flagstaff creatives will host their annual Handmade Holiday Market at
The Yoga Experience, 1071 E. Old Canyon Court, Suite 200 on December 2, 2022 from 4-8 pm,
as part of First Friday Artwalk. Customers will be able to shop for locally made gifts from
Flagstaff Handmade Collective artisans Darcy Falk (Tallulah ArtHead textile art and
accessories), Kate Watters (Wild Heart Farm flower art and apothecary), Delia Withey
(wood-burned home goods), Annie Taylor (holiday bulbs, plants, and artworks on paper),
DeeAnn Tracy Brown (Peak Scents skincare), Elena Kirschner (wildcrafted wreaths and
knitwear), Audria Smith (fine art note cards and prints, beaded jewelry, and art for the garden),
and Robin Cadigan (pottery). Shoppers can visit flagstaffhandmade.com for a listing of artists
and their individual websites.

“As a member of the Flagstaff Handmade Collective, I look forward to this event each year. We
are excited to share our unique creations in a festive atmosphere and beautiful space,” said
Kate Watters of Wild Heart Farm.

The collective will also be collecting non-perishable food items that night in support of the
Flagstaff Family Food Center, hotfood.org. This locally run food bank serves hot meals, provides
food boxes, and hosts a children’s reading room to encourage a love of books.

This year the collective is excited about hosting an in-person indoor event in partnership with
The Yoga Experience. “Our collective members work many months to make beautiful everyday
objects for our Flagstaff fans,” said Darcy Falk, owner of Tallulah Arthead. “Especially these
days, it is sweet when we get to see everyone face to face and reconnect.”

The event offers holiday shopping in one convenient location with ample parking. Shoppers will
also be able to grab a tasty taco and other treats from Sugar Skull Rolling Cafe food truck that
evening.

The Handmade Holiday Market has been an annual pop-up, starting in 2010 as a home-based
show where locals could shop and visit with friends, then evolved into a public event. To
prevent the spread of COVID, in 2020 the artists hosted the event as an online shopping
experience. In 2021, the market was an outdoor event at Peak Scents. This year the artists are
thrilled to be inside, and urge shoppers to socially distance as much as possible. Masks are
optional and will be available at the door.
