F-Town Sound W/ Flag Collective

F-Town Sound was formed in 2019 when Jason Syracuse (of tenor saxophone fame) had the dream to bring the sound of a big dance band to Flagstaff. He gathered together a bunch of local Flagstaff musicians, and drawing on influences of Tower of Power, Calexico, and Galactic, started rehearsing in his garage. Four years later, the band boasts a long list of originals, resulting in a freight train of sound that you can’t help but boogie down to!
Featuring Flagstaff’s very own Sean Golightly (@golightly_music) and Dina Barnese, formerly of Rock Nine, on vocals coupled with the deepest rhythm section this side of Sunny Side, and Flagstaff’s loudest Horn section! Western Funk meets Latin Groove on the dance floor!
