He will share information gathered from 45 interviews with Hondurans and trace the strategies of capital, the state, and social movements.‌Learn how the economic, ideological, and emotional foundations of extractive hegemony were undermined in Honduras through the coercive approach of pro-mining actors; the development of anti-extractivist consciousness via antagonistic struggle and organization; and a neoliberal state stuck in a contradiction.‌
