The college of Arts and Letters Film Series presents a showing of the film, Raging Bull (1980)
De Niro won his only Best Actor Oscar for this true story of boxer Jake LaMotta, whose violent and self-destructive behavior destroyed his professional and personal life. This was De Niro’s fourth of nine collaborations with Scorsese.
