Beginner Linocut Workshop

Creative Workshop at The HeArt Box
Sunday, December 10th from 11 am – 1 pm
The cost per person is $75 including all materials
Ages – 16 and up

Learn the basics of linocut printmaking from start to finish. We will create a design for relief printing, you can create your own or there will be simple designs to use for those who would prefer. We will learn cutting techniques for linoleum and printing final prints on paper at the end. Each participant will go home with finished carved linoleum blocks and prints. You get to keep your linoleum block allowing you to keep printing after the workshop is over. This is a fun technique to learn and you can use this for many reproduction applications.

Friendly, small group setting. Step-by-step instruction with room for your creativity.
All levels are welcome, including absolute beginners.

Materials included:

5×7 Linoleum Carving Block – to create prints from

Pencil, transfer

Stock images to choose from if you don’t feel comfortable drawing

Linoleum Cutter, Pencil

Inking Plate, Ink, Brayer
