Archaeology Society Meeting & Documentary film

Thieves of Time a documentary film produced by Phoenix public television station KAET in 1978. It was initiated by then MNA Curator Robert Breunig to bring public attention to the problem of looting and pot-hunting of archaeological sites in Arizona. The film begins with a sequence about the looting of the Homolovi sites, ancestral homes of Hopi clans today. Discussion following the screening, and appearance by Peter Pilles who also stars in the production.
