NAU Tinnitus Support Group

Tinnitus (ringing in the ear) is a debilitating condition that afects over 50 milion Americans. The Northern Arizona University Tinitus Support Group will offer an informal medium for tinnitus sufferers, family members, friends, and interested participants, to obtain information abou tinnitus and share their experiences. 

Structure of meetings:

• 30 minute presentation by a health care professional (e.g., Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist; Audiologist; Psychologist; Dentist; etc.) on a topic related to tinnitus.
• 30 minute question and answer.
• 45 minutes for participatns to share their experiendes with tinnitus, including coping and/or treatmen strateies that have helped.
