Philosophy in the Public Interest invites you to the next in our series of “Hot Topics,” a talk with Dr. Joe Arel titled “What do we really mean by ‘Freedom’?”. This event is open to NAU and the Flagstaff community.
Freedom is the central concept of American politics. It guides how we think about ourselves, the role of government in our lives, our relationship to other American citizens, as well as the citizens of other countries. How we think about freedom significantly impacts how we think about politics and vice-versa. Join us for a discussion of this important and meaningful concept. Dr. Joe Arel of NAU's Philosophy Department will lead our discussion, open to the public.
