This exhibition features paintings of elders from around the world, and asks us to ponder our own aging journey and how we nurture that process in our family and community.
Kathi's paintings feature elders from around the world, inspired by photos she has snapped on her travels. Each scene captured her heart and attention, prompting her to consider her own aging journey and whether Western culture adequately nurtures that process in its family and community members. The questions that accompany each painting invite deeper inquiry into how to best honor our seniors and provide for healthy and satisfying later years.
