Reflections on Art Appreciation: Meditations, Aspirations, and Reflections

A one-hour presentation will focus on art appreciation of both classical and contemporary art, focusing on art displayed in museums and art in everyday life.  Through a series of slides and talk, Alan Spiegler of Coconino Community College, will encourage the audience to become more engaged and active in appreciating art in all its forms from conceptual/minimalist to traditional painting, sculpture, and architecture. Join the journey to a deeper appreciation of the art that is all around us.

Refreshments will be served at 8 p.m. with a continuing informal discussion.
