Beginning Figure Drawing Classes with Shawn Skabelund

An opportunity to study figure drawing with personal instruction from award-winning artist, Shawn Skabelund. Classes are weekly, Tuesdays, 6-9pm, from April 1 – May 6. The workshop consists of 6 three-hour sessions drawing from a live model. Shawn will lead the class through a number of exercises to develop an understanding of the human figure, and lay the ground work for further development outside the course.

Shawn holds degrees from Utah State University and the University of Iowa. A nationally exhibited artist, Shawn’s work has been featured in Sculpture Magazine and numerous regional publications.
