Family-friendly evening event of discussion and demonstration of basic blacksmithing techniques.
Spend a few hours at Pioneer Museum learning about early Flagstaff blacksmiths. The museum’s new resident smithy, Matthew Freyer, will discuss and demonstrate basic blacksmithing techniques commonly used on the American frontier.
Flagstaff-born Matthew Freyer has a passion for history, antique tools, and traditional/artistic blacksmithing. This is a free event. Beer and wine will be sold at a modest price.
