Tynkertopia, Inc. is a non-profit community center in Flagstaff, AZ focusing on creativity, inquiry, and STEM/STEAM knowledge and skills. Flagstaff is America’s First STEM Community, and Tynkertopia, Inc. is Flagstaff’s STEM/STEAM Community Center. STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics plus A for the Arts equals STEAM. We welcome kids aged 1 – 17 with parents/grandparents/siblings 18+ and anyone 18 and older.
Tynkertopia’s mission is to serve as a STEAM Community Center to empower all residents of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona to:
- cultivate skills, strategies, and confidence as independent, lifelong learners
- expand creativity, inquiry skills, and STEM/STEAM skills and knowledge by:
- inviting curiosity
- inspiring wonder
- encouraging playfulness, and
- celebrating unique solutions.
As a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for students, teachers, parents, artists, crafters, inventors, makers, and tynkerers of any age, we welcome community collaborations in which partners work together to share expertise, resources, and responsibility for achieving mutual goals.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: Noon - 6 PM
Saturdays: 9 AM - 5 PM
Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays: Special Events including Field Trips and Birthday Parties.
PUBLIC ADMISSION FEES
Admission is FREE, but donations are appreciated.
