Flagstaff Family Food Center

The Flagstaff Family Food Center (FFFC) provides nutritional meals in a safe pleasant environment and assists children with reading, homework and social skills. We offer an all you can eat free meal daily consisting of meat, rice, pasta or potatoes, steamed vegetables, salad, fruit, bread, and dessert. Our only requirement is you must be sober to enter the dining room. 

FFFC was established on December 25, 1991 as an outgrowth of Catholic Social Services. Since that time, FFFC has served over 1.8 million hot meals. We are open every day of the year from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

In 1993, FFFC was incorporated and was accepted as a local United Way Agency. In 1994 we were granted 501(3)c status and voted the Arizona Daily Sun’s Outstanding Organization of the Year. FFFC is governed by an unpaid Board of Directors representing a variety of interests in Flagstaff. Every year volunteers from various organizations and the community donate hundreds of hours preparing & serving meals, bussing tables, washing dishes and assisting staff maintain our building.

In 2013, FFFC and the Northern Arizona Food Bank (NAFB) merged and began operating under one umbrella and one name. The new agency, called Flagstaff Family Food Center: Food Bank and Kitchen (FFFC-FB&K), continues to serve hot meals, facilitate the preparation of bag lunches, provide children's literacy programs and also provides over 30,000 emergency food boxes to the food-insecure of our community.

FFFC-FB&K is host to many people ranging from those who have attended and perhaps graduated from college to the working poor and homeless. Often they live in motels or are camping. Some of our clients eat here regularly, others move through the system until they can stabilize their lives. At FFFC-FB&K we offer our clients not only a nutritious meal but an opportunity to be treated with respect and dignity from our staff and volunteers.
