FALA Gala

FALA Gala

Presented by Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy at Coconino Center for the Arts

The Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy hosts the fourth annual FALA Gala: A Good Time for a Great Cause! The Gala features food from Pasto Cucina Italiana, wine from Page Springs Cellars, and beer from Golden Eagle Distributors. This is the school’s biggest fundraiser and is made even bigger this year with pledges from FALA families to match every dollar raised—up to $20,000.

"FALA's programs in music and the visual and performing arts are top notch,” said JT Tannous, Executive Director of Flagstaff Cultural Partners. “It's an excelling school that deserves our support. But aside from all that, the FALA Gala is a blast and I wouldn't miss it."

At the GALA, guests converge at the Coconino Center for the Arts to celebrate in style while raising funds for FALA. Delicious food and drink, live entertainment, along with a spectacular silent auction are signatures of this festive annual event. The event food and beverage sponsors are Pasto Cucina Italiana, Page Springs Cellars, and Golden Eagle Distributors.

Throughout the evening, attendees will enjoy performances by talented FALA students, as well as the closing night of the Youth Art Exhibit.  The silent auction will feature the work of Shonto Begay, Joe Sorren, George Averbeck, FALA students, and much more.

One of the event’s donated items, a signed, limited edition Joe Sorren print, is available immediately for purchase and will be displayed at the Coconino Center for the Arts during the Youth Art Exhibition. This print, Human Again, is number 38 out of only 125 made and has been framed by Hidden Light. The value is $705 and anyone who doesn’t want to risk being outbid at the silent auction can purchase it for $530 through FALA’s website or office.

Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy is a tuition-free, public charter middle and high school with a focus on academic excellence and rigorous performing and visual arts programs. For information, call (928) 779-7223 or visit flagarts.com.
