They are known by many names—mountain lion, cougar, puma, ghost cat, and catamount. Solitary hunters near the top of the food chain, they rely on camouflage, superb eyesight, and speed. This exhibit was developed by the Center of Southwest Studies, Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, with the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
