Bearizona animal keepers play a vital role in ensuring the animals at Bearizona are healthy and happy! National Zoo Keepers Week is a chance to celebrate keepers for all they do. Bearizona wanted to showcase our incredible keepers with a fun event for kids of all ages!

Bearizona's first ever Storytime & Teddy Bear Check-Up will be held July 22, 2016.

Storytime will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. so make sure you are here early! The focus of the storytime will be on zookeepers as well as north American wildlife. There will be rhymes, songs and stories where kids can get active and participate.

After Storytime, Bearizona's keeper staff will be on hand to answer any questions about what it takes to be a zookeeper, what they love about their job, and answer any other questions from visitors.

The event will conclude with a teddy bear check-up. Children can bring their favorite stuffed animal to get a wellness check from Bearizona keepers and each child will receive a health certificate from the event.

Please help us by only bringing one stuffed animal per child.
Please do not bring any stuffed animals with any "major" surgery needed.
