Make a Knit Hat Workshop

Make a Knit Hat Workshop

Presented by Threaded Together at Threaded Together

several options for the brim and top. Hat patterns are provided.

You will need to bring:
• A soft, multi-ply yarn that knits up between 3.5 and 5.5 stitches per inch. We love wool, or choose whatever material you prefer.
• A 16” circular needle – wooden or bamboo is good for beginners, or metal according to which you prefer. Start with the size recommended by the yarn package unless you already know whether you knit looser or tighter.

FYI, we sell discount yarn at Threaded Together! Stop by during our regular hours to shop our stash and see if we have anything you want to use for your hat. Contact us if you'd like more info about choosing yarn or needles before the workshop.

** You will save a lot of class time if you try out your yarn and needles before class! Please knit a square a few inches across (in stockinette stitch – knit one row, purl one row, etc.) to test your gauge and see if you like your yarn with this size needle. Bring your test swatch to class and we will help you measure it.**
