Explore the art of relief printmaking.
This is a hands-on class in which you will learn the basics of relief printmaking and discuss technical elements including ink varieties and printing methods. This course will allow you to create small relief prints with a variety of products. Learn the process of cutting away and shaping surfaces to create images and designs. Most supplies are included, but please bring a pencil, a large Sharpie, and a 10x14 sketchbook.

David Williams is a Professor of Printmaking at Northern Arizona University where he has taught printmaking and book classes for the past twenty-five years. His work is included nationally in many permanent collections and has been shown worldwide.
