Join a park ranger for a walk along Walnut Canyon’s trails observing and listening to migratory and resident bird species.
Walnut Canyon National Monument will be hosting a spring bird walk on Saturday, May 27 from 9:30-11:00 AM. Join a park ranger as we walk along the parks trails. We will observe, listen to, and discuss the resident and migratory birds that call Walnut Canyon home. Please meet at the visitor center at 9:30. A limited number of binoculars will be provided though support from the Western National Parks Association.
Park entrance fees apply. There is a $25 vehicle fee to enter the park. A valid America the Beautiful Pass will cover entrance for one private vehicle. For more information on park entrance fees, visit Fees & Passes - Walnut Canyon National Monument (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov).
