Community Living Room Featuring Gwendolyn Waring, Writer & Ecologist

Gwendolyn Waring, a local ecologist, writer and artist, will chat casually about some of the highlights of her ecological research in the Southwest, which she says "have been a blast and great privilege"

Possible topics will include: Agaves and natural enemies; Creosote Bush in the Southern Deserts; Shoreline Plants and the damming of the Colorado River; Goodding Willow and river flows; San Jan River with the Nature Conservancy; Bebb Willow and Hart Prairie; and dry-farming corn at Wupatki.

Southwest botanists, researchers, enthusiasts, and aficionados will not want to miss this one!
