Learn the basics of making both tortillas and tamales in this short clinic!
More specifically, participants will learn a brief history of tortillas and tamales, what tools you need, and how to make them! You will see the process unfold, then make some yourself.
This cooking class will be held on Sunday from 12pm - 3pm at the Fort Tuthill County Park Mess Hall in Flagstaff, AZ. It will be taught by our incredible culinary instructor, Willa McAuliffe. The classes will explore a variety of foods and flavors leaving you craving more!
The cost for this program is $30* for Adults (18 and older) and $18* for Youth (8 - 17 years old).
Our programs must meet minimum and maximum enrollment standards. Programs may fill quickly or may be canceled due to low enrollment.
*There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied at check-out. Skip the processing fee by registering and paying with cash or a check at the Parks & Recreation Office, located at Fort Tuthill County Park.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy
Cancellations
Any participant enrolled in a program cancelled by Coconino County Parks and Recreation will be offered a refund in one of three ways:
1. If paying by a credit card, a full refund (minus the credit card processing fee) will be credited to the card used to enroll in the program.
2. A full refund will be given in the form of a check. Please expect 2-4 weeks for delivery.
3. A full refund will be credited to the Customer Account for use in another program or facility rental.
All withdrawals from recreation programs are subject to an administrative fee of $6.00 charged per withdrawal.

Withdrawals occurring 7 or more days prior to program start date - 100% of program fee (less administrative fee).
Withdrawals occurring between 3 and 6 days prior to program start date - 50% of program fee (less administrative fee)
Withdrawals initiated between 1 and 3 days prior to program start date - No refund
