"To most who know me, I’m a Shark Tank-winning, self-taught carpenter & furniture designer who defied the odds and built an internationally-known kids’ furniture company out of my LA garage. What many don't know; however, is that I’m also an ordinary, science-minded mom of two who was thrown into extraordinary circumstances at the age of 36 when I suddenly started seeing and hearing spirits of deceased children, some of whom were killed by predators. At first, I thought I was losing my mind (or breathing too much polyurethane in my workshop). My intuitive awakening led to quiet partnerships with detectives around the country and a traditional publishing deal for my soon-to-be released memoir. But there's more. Little did I know when the kids started coming to me more than ten years ago, they weren’t just looking for help...they were coming to help reveal dark secrets from my own childhood and save me from a sociopathic predator in my midst" (Post Hill Press/ Sept 20 release)
In film/tv speak, it's MEDIUM meets DIRTY JOHN meets GHOST WHISPERER.
