An El Niño winter is a great time to learn to knit!  Join an experienced instructor for a fun and relaxed class that will cover all the basics you need to get started.  We'll learn how the knit and purl stiches work, and how to combine them for an infinite variety of patterns, as well as casting on (starting) and binding off (ending).  You'll start by knitting a washcloth, and leave with the skills to make a scarf or a cowl.  True beginners are welcome, as well as those who need a refresher on the basics.

This class takes place in two sessions, on Saturdays Feburary 27th and March 5, from 1-3 pm both days.
