Join us in the Downtown Community Room for a hands on talk from Dr. Bob Zavala, Astronomer at the U.S. Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station.
Dr. Zavala will present a brief history of the Observatory and its role, followed by a hands-on introduction to celestial navigation using the Naval Observatory's publications and, weather permitting, a nighttime practical exercise. Please arrive by 5:50PM, if possible.
