This training will provide strategies and guidance for surviving an active shooter event. Topics will include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and more.
What should you do if confronted with an active shooter event?
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
WARNING: The class includes video and audio recordings of actual and simulated crises that some may find disturbing, as well as discussion of crisis situations. It is intended for people aged 18 and older.
This program is presented by the Flagstaff Police Department. It will be held in the Downtown Library Community Room.
