Join us to unite Flagstaff’s LGBT+ community by discussing a multi-generational book!
Teens & adult participants will be encouraged to engage with one another, opening up possibilities of mentorship between the generations. Conversations will be facilitated, leading participants to their own answers while gaining diverse insights.
We are pleased to be offering this program in partnership with several supportive community organizations!
The book 'Pet' by Akwaeke Emezi is recommended for ages 12 and up, and is a riveting and timely young adult debut novel that asks difficult questions about what choices you can make when the society around you is in denial. .
Books are available by library check-out, digital e-book, digital audiobook, AND book club lending. Looking for a copy? Call 928-213-2348 to request it to be set aside OR visit the East Flagstaff Community Library and ask for a copy at the desk.
