Sky has been in the studio recording songs he wrote under the kind and talented wings of Donovan Leitch. Do you remember Donovan? From the 60s-70's. A while back Donovan announced in an interview in Guitar magazine that he would pick seven students to teach his Master Class to. Students were chosen based on video submissions of performances of self-penned songs. Ultimately Donovan choose only two students: Sky and a luthier from Canada.

“I wouldn't call myself the best guitar player”, says Sky. “There are plenty of better ones. It's the songs that matter. I like to think I write some good ones, ones that will leave you uplifted and inspired”.

Sky incorporated the techniques Donovan taught him into his recent songs. He will be performing some of them live.

Sky includes popular covers in his sets as well.

Playing at Vino Loco during Dew Downtown has become a tradition for Sky who comes to Flag once a year for it.

 It’s sure to be a good time with familiar faces and new friends.
