Description:

As we all (fingers crossed) emerge from the pandemic, Theatrikos is gearing up for our first show our new 2022 season. Our 50th season! And that means auditions! And that means a drama club workshop to help you succeed at auditions. At this free 1st Sunday Drama Club workshop, participants will read the script for the powerful drama 12 Angry Jurors. You can talk with the director, too. And mostly, just have fun!

12 Angry Jurors

An Emmy award winning American stage masterpiece that’s a penetrating and engrossing examination of the deep-seated cultural differences, prejudices, indifference, anger, ignorance and fears that threaten to taint the human spirit.  And, in this case, potentially lead to a miscarriage of justice.  Juror #8, voted one of the greatest heroes of literature, slowly convinces the other jurors that following their true moral compass and doing the right thing, while frequently difficult, is ultimately what embodies the best of humanity.
