From Frisbees to Disc Golf: The History of Flagstaff's Fastest Growing Sport

Presented by Arizona Historical Society at The Pioneer Museum

Northern Arizona is home to over 30 disc golf courses officially recognized by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), five of which are in the greater Flagstaff area. How and when did this sport get its start? What were the factors leading to its popularity in Flagstaff? Join the Arizona Historical Society and the Flagstaff Disc Golf Club for an active evening steeped in history and disc golf playing on the grounds of Pioneer Museum.

A special putt-and-approach object course is available for attendee play to start off the evening, followed by a presentation from members of the Flagstaff Disc Golf Club.

The beer will be cold, plentiful, and priced modestly!
