A 2-hour workshop photographing live raptors in flight and static display with guidance from photographer Ted Grussing.
Participants will receive instruction from a talented and expert photographer through a 2-hour workshop photographing live raptors in flight and static display. Photographer Ted Grussing will provide expert guidance to photographers in learning new skills and techniques.
Michele will fly three different species of raptor native to the Southwest. Photographing a flying raptor does take practice, and there will be plenty of time to gain experience.
Ted wanted to spend quality time with each participant, so space is limited to 5 persons for each workshop. So register early!! The cost is $250 per person. All the monies from each workshop benefit the International Raptor & Falconry Center in expanding their rehabilitation program.
The first workshop will be in Flagstaff on October 23rd, with the San Francisco Peaks as a backdrop. It is still too hot in Sedona during October to fly this many birds for this length of time. The second workshop will be on December 4th in Sedona.
If you would like to register for this event, please email michele@raptorfalconrycenter.org to let us know that you want to register for the workshop, and will be provided with instructions.
