Join us at Threaded Together and learn to create an exciting and on-trend garment, made to your measurements!
In this after-school sewing class designed for teens (ages 12-16), students will learn how to take their own measurements, sew a French seam, and create a simple self-drafted garment using “shirring” techniques!
Make a tube top, maxi dress, or skirt, and get comfortable using a sewing machine! Bring your sewing machine or use one of ours.

In-Person at Threaded Together
If you can, please bring 3.5 yards of a woven fabric of your choice (stable fabrics like quilting cotton, cotton poplin, linen, and raw silk are recommended), and 2 spools of elastic thread. If you are not able to bring your own fabric or thread, we will provide those materials to you! We’re eager to offer people the in-person experiences they have been missing while making sure our classes are as safe as possible while the pandemic continues. Space is limited to allow for social distancing. We are continuing to monitor and follow CDC guidance on masking for indoor gatherings, and ask that you do as well.
