Everyone is invited to visit the CCC booth at the Southside Community/Student Welcome Back event. This family-friendly and fun outing is hosted by the Southside Community Association 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Murdoch Community Center, 203 E. Brannen Ave., Flagstaff. The welcome program begins at 12 noon.

This annual event is free and open to the public. It’s meant to welcome back students attending Coconino Community College and Northern Arizona University. There will be a DJ, live music, food trucks, fellowship, games, prizes and more. Please feel free to stop by the CCC booth and show your school spirit by wearing any CCC attire you may have.

Sponsors for the event include CCC, NAU, The City of Flagstaff, Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council, African Diaspora Advisory Council and Coconino County Indigenous Peoples Advisory Council. Also sponsoring are First Missionary Baptist Church, Harbert AME Church, Riverside Church of God in Christ and Springhill Baptist Church.
