FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA – The Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff is proud to present the 19th Annual City of Flagstaff Recycled Art Exhibition featuring art created with recycled materials. Local artists from all over Coconino County, Sedona, Yavapai County, and the Native American Reservations , along with students of all ages come together to promote recycling through this creative, fun, and inspiring exhibition.

All artwork in the show must contain at least 80% recycled or reused materials. The possibilities are endless, and the exhibition celebrates the creativity of the artists and community of Northern Arizona. The purpose of the exhibition is to encourage the reuse of a variety of materials in new, different, and creative forms and to promote recycling and resource conservation.

During the FREE Opening Reception on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 17th (6 to 8 PM), the many awards will be announced in an “ACADEMY AWARDS” type ceremony, and many artists will be in attendance to discuss their creations in a one-on-one setting. Awards presented at the reception include entries for Most Creative, Most Humorous, Most Useful, Best Use of Material, Elegance, Simplicity, and Best of Show. A People’s Choice award voted on by all attendees will be announced at the close of the exhibition. Larger artworks will be displayed in the concourse of the FLAGSTAFF MALL for the run of the exhibition.
