Learn to use a sewing machine and start making fun projects right away in this 4-week series! Hosted by a local non-profit, Threaded Together, Stitchin’ School is designed for kids ages 11-14.
Build sewing skills and discover a new way to be creative. Projects may include coasters, bunting, tote bags, applique shapes, and animal pillows. We have two coupon codes that you can use for sliding scale payments, for a 25% [SEW25] or 50% [SEW50] discount from regular class prices. If these discounts will allow you to participate in classes which otherwise would not be possible, please use them! If you would like to participate but need further assistance, please contact us. If you are able to support our programs with a donation above the regular class price, please do so by clicking the "DONATE" tab in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. We’re eager to offer young people the in-person experiences they have been missing while making sure our classes are as safe as possible while the pandemic continues. Space is limited to allow for social distancing. All participants will be required to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and maintain social distancing as much as possible. Each student will use their own set of tools. Tools and equipment will be sanitized between classes.
You can register for Stitchin' School on Threaded Together's website. All courses are priced on a sliding scale, and if those amounts are still prohibitive please email sierra@threadedtogether.org.
