Sherwin Bitsui (Diné) is originally from White Cone, Arizona, on the Navajo Reservation. He is Diné of the Todich’ii’nii (Bitter Water Clan), born for the Tl’izilani (Many Goats Clan). He is the author of Shapeshift, Flood Song and Dissolve. His honors include a Lannan Foundation Literary Fellowship and a Native Arts & Culture Foundation Arts Fellowship. He is also the recipient of a 2010 PEN Open Book Award, an American Book Award, and a Whiting Writers Award. He is on faculty at Northern Arizona University.
Tyler Mitchell is a Diné writer from Tsaile, Arizona. He is an MFA Candidate at Northern Arizona University where he writes poetry. Tyler is the Executive Editor of Salina Bookshelf, Inc. and is a member of the Saad Bee Hózho Diné Writers’ Collective. He currently writes out of Flagstaff, Arizona.
Tanner Menard is a poet & composer, a Louisiana Creole & a member of the Atakapa Ishak Nation. They have published ten albums of ambient music, a chapbook & have been three times nominated for a Pushcart Prize. They are an MFA Candidate at NAU & the recipient of the Frederick J. and Alice W. Dockstader Scholarship, awarded to Indigenous scholars in the arts.
