Due to COVID-19 and out of an abundance of caution, ACS and volunteer leadership has decided to make the Climb a virtual event this year. The safety of our climbers, sponsors, survivors and volunteers is of utmost importance. We could not go forward with an in- person event, given the unknowns of this pandemic and the Governor’s guidelines. We know how much this event means to the community and that cancer does not stop. Well, neither do we. For 32 years, this event has brought our cancer patients, survivors, caretakers, family and friends together and we want to make sure everyone can still get together and raise the much-needed life-saving funds that COVID-19 has put in jeopardy.

PLEASE NOTE...SNOWBOWL ROAD WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ANY HIKERS!

A virtual event gives each individual team the unique opportunity to decide how they want to participate in the 2020 Climb. You can walk a mile a day during the week leading up to the event. You can take a 7-mile hike or trail walk on the day of the previously scheduled event. You can walk alone or get your team to join you. With this being a virtual event, you can build those teams up with family and friends that maybe have been unable to make it to Flagstaff in the past. Have them walk and hike with you, wherever they are! Whatever you choose to do, make this climb your own! Be creative. Take photos and have fun! This virtual climb allows us to still celebrate, remember and to fight back with our friends and family.
